About Giona

Giona is a US Navy Veteran and Trans Woman from Cranston. For decades now, we have had the same representation and conditions for working families have not gotten any better. Giona recognizes that our schools are still struggling, the costs of housing and groceries are going up, and healthcare, elder care, and childcare are getting harder and harder to afford. Our community has been forgotten and left behind.

Giona wants to invest in our schools, roads, and neighborhoods. Let’s address rising housing costs, for everyone. Let’s take on the healthcare and utility companies profiting off of us. And let’s expand good-paying job opportunities for everyone in our community. To Giona, those are real Democratic values, and it’s time our community had someone on Smith Hill who will truly fight for them.
